Workplace Spaces that Ebb and Flow
The pandemic created an unique opportunity for companies to experience what it would be like to work from home, rather than the traditional office place experience. Businesses across the country may still be determining what works best for the company and their employees well-being.
LinkedIn’s CEO Ryan Roslansky wrote about trusting each other and that “every individual and every team works differently, so we’re moving away from a one-size-fits-all policy.”
In keeping with this new mindset, their offices shifted from assigned deskspace to an open concept with “team-based neighborhoods.” Spaces are split up into areas designed for individuals to focus and have privacy to small-group collaboration and brainstorming areas.
Instead of a ‘one-size-fits-all’, the offices are now designed for what works best for individuals and teams to ebb and flow into whatever creative space they are in need of at the time.
