Supersizing Your Customers’ Digital Menu Board Experience
Normally, thousands of football fans flock to the stadium for the Super Bowl. However, 2020 and 2021 were changed drastically with the onset of COVID-19. Stadiums are filled with cardboard people and drastically reduced numbers of fans (1/3 of the number normally allowed) were able to enter the stadium. This social distancing was a topic usually discussed throughout the years.
In order to ensure a memorable experience despite the pandemic, the Super Bowl LV utilized digital signage. Digital signage and the menu boards were upgraded in preparation for the big game – and to deliver a better customer experience. Static signs were replaced by new digital menu boards which allowed for branding and a simpler ordering experience for customers – thereby increasing customer sales. Custom content was created for the various concession areas.
