Cloud Connectivity Continues to Power Digital Signage
During Spanish flu, the country did not have the extensive technology that we now have to communicate directions, laws and notifications about how to best protect themselves. Moving forward to before COVID-19, digital signage was everywhere from grocery stores to malls to doctors offices. Digital signage was used for information and entertainment. As the pandemic, digital signage took on a vital role in communicating safety information and law changes in real-time. As communities and businesses start to open up, digital signage will continue to be used to ensure safety regulations for employees and the community.
This digital signage technology is heavily reliant on cloud connectivity, which required (and will continue to require) locations without access to pivot to allowing these advanced technologies to be utilized. As it continues to grow, the infrastructures will become more cost-effective and available to more communities.
