Car Dealership Is Going Digital
Imagine the last time you were at a car dealership and what the customer waiting area experience was like. Most likely, there was a television playing the local news or a kids program. During the commercial break, a competing car dealerships ads come on – and you start to wonder if you should be investigating other cars instead of the one you are currently in talks over. This scenario is happening all over the country in customer waiting areas – but what if the dealership could control the content you are seeing with some simple changes?
GM recently began assessing their U.S.A. dealerships to determine their needs for digital signage. A shift from traditional television to controlled digital signage will allow the dealership to control what advertisements and information is shown to their customers while waiting to speak with a representative.
