BLR Lights Up NetApp’s Silicon Valley Headquarters
In a significant collaboration with longtime client NetApp, BLR played a pivotal role in completing interior and exterior branding signage for the company’s new global headquarters. NetApp recently relocated to a cutting-edge 303,000-square-foot facility at 700 Santana Row, known as 3060 Olsen Drive, marking a transformative step toward embracing the future of work and the ‘next normal.’
BLR was entrusted with providing interior branding signage and crafting the exterior signage, including installing impressive 6-foot tall illuminated logos atop the eight-story building. The intricate process involved collaborating with General Contractor Devcon Construction to install custom mullion-mounted sign brackets, enabling the secure mounting of the iconic NetApp logo.
The project, executed over a meticulous three-phase timeframe, reflects BLRs’ commitment to delivering top-notch signage solutions. The strategic placement of the NetApp sign ensures visibility from two of the South Bay’s major highways, 280 and 880, solidifying its presence in the commercial signage landscape.
NetApp’s headquarters relocation is not just a physical move but a strategic shift towards a hybrid work model tailored to support the evolving needs of its business and employees. The move to Santana Row in San Jose aligns with NetApp’s vision to create a work environment that fosters collaboration, inclusion, and agility while prioritizing employee health and wellness.
NetApp’s CEO, George Kurian, emphasized the company’s commitment to a flexible hybrid work model: “Our new global headquarters will enable us to create a differentiated work experience that empowers our employees to deliver their best team-based work in a more connected space.”
NetApp’s new headquarters, situated in a modern eight-story complex, reflects the company’s forward-thinking approach to the future of work. The walkable district of San Jose offers convenient access to the freeway system and shuttles to the nearby Diridon Caltrain station, further solidifying NetApp’s connection to Silicon Valley.
Jan Sweetnam, Executive Vice President of Federal Realty Investment Trust, welcomed NetApp to Santana Row, highlighting the dynamic live-work-play environment and the amenities that will enhance the office experience for NetApp’s employees.
