BLR Visual Communications was founded by our owner Betty Lee Root, and we’ve been in the business for three generations. Since our founding in 1974, we’ve grown from a small storefront that handmade engraved pieces for computers and machinery to an industry leader in signage and visual messaging. Engraving is still one of our most important services, but our offerings have grown considerably over the years.

In the late 80s, BLR expanded to include signage, graphics, creative support, installation, and eventually digital signage. Though new ownership took over in 2005, we continue to lead the signage industry forward, all while honoring our history and maintaining a culture of family values.

BLR has consistently provided quality and expertise for a diverse range of applications and will continue to support businesses as we have for the past 50 years.
